As someone who studying animation, the blush is actually a part of facial expression. In animation industry, facial expression is important. Without facial expression, the character details will be gone. Some people may hate that blush but that's art. Remember animation or anime is an art industry, not a technical or fabric industry. Why did I say this? Art is usually came from the artist and the message that he/she wants to deliver doesn't necessarily acceptable to all people. Some people may like it, some may hate it.
